In addition to the traditional public schools, Grant Park is home to a popular charter elementary school (Neighborhood Charter School) and the new Atlanta Charter Middle School that opened in 2005. Both schools feature a hands-on, project-oriented curriculum focused on ecology and conservation, with a partnership with nearby Zoo Atlanta.
